The cleanair list at is concerned with air quality in the Georgia Basin, particularly on southern Vancouver Island and the southern Gulf Islands. The list serve was launched when Norske Canada announced plans to conduct a 30 month trial burn at their Crofton mill using coal, railway ties, and tires as fuel.
