Crofton Division claims to "respond to community calls in real time.
People who call 246-6100 (and press zero) speak to an employee at the
main gate, who logs the call and assesses urgency. For odour and
fallout inquiries, notice is sent immediately to the shift engineer who
returns calls seven days a week.
"We aim to return all calls as soon as possible, taking time of day into consideration when returning calls."

Any industrial spills, such as discharges of excessive ash to the
atmosphere, or any particularly strong "odours" (chemical gases in the
air you're breathing), should be reported to the Provincial Emergency Program by calling 1-800-663-3456, 24 hours a day. "The basic
information is logged and forwarded to the nearest Response Officer for
WLAP. The Response Officer responds according to WLAP policy and PEP
staff are not a part of that response.
