Crofton Division claims to "respond to community calls in real time. People who call 246-6100 (and press zero) speak to an employee at the main gate, who logs the call and assesses urgency. For odour and fallout inquiries, notice is sent immediately to the shift engineer who returns calls seven days a week.
"We aim to return all calls as soon as possible, taking time of day into consideration when returning calls."

You might also wish to call the Environmental Director for Catalyst at the Crofton mill (250-246-6227)to discuss your concerns,or e-mail Catalyst Paper and the Ministry of Environment from our website describing your complaint. If you are reporting an ash fallout or odour event, make sure you note the date, the time, and the duration.

You can also complain to the Provincial Emergency Program or directly to the government.
